 of Time
The first of a new series of Doctor Who audio adventures was released in July 1999. Produced by Gary Russell and Jason Haigh-Ellery's Big Finish Productions, the new productions feature actors from the original television series. Sirens was a multi-Doctor adventure, starring Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy.

 Phantasmagoria Released in September, the second of the new Big Finish audios featured Peter Davison and Mark Strickson reprising his role as Turlough. The story is set in London in 1702, where "a mysterious highwayman roams the streets, a local occultist has made contact with the dead and gentlemen of fashion are disappearing, only to find themselves in a chamber whose walls weep blood."

 Land of
 the Dead
The fourth audio adventure in the series, Land of the Dead, was released in January 2000. It features Peter Davison and Sarah Sutton, reprising her role as Nyssa. The story is set in Alaska, where "the Doctor and Nyssa encounter a group of people in a most unusual house, cut off not only by the harsh climate, but by their individual secrets and obsessions.

 Red Dawn Red Dawn, was released in May 2000. It features Peter Davison and Nicola Bryant, reprising her role as Peri. The story concerns Ares One: NASA's first manned mission to the dead planet Mars. But is Mars as dead as it seems? While the NASA team investigate an 'anomaly' on the planet's surface, the Doctor and Peri find themselves inside a strange alien building.

1963, Switzerland. A teenage girl plans to flee her finishing school amd elope with her mysterious beau. Unfortunately, those plans are interupted by the arrival of a young girl from Traken, seemingly lost in the snow, and what appears to be a very malevolent poltergeist with a penchant for pianos, ski-poles and the local chapel... This story takes place between "Time-Flight" and "Arc of Infinity."
