The PMEB at Visions '98

The PMEB has arrived. Be afraid ... very afraid.
Here we are, Friday afternoon, full of spit and vinegar
and ready to take on anything.

1. Elsa 2. Meg 3. Marion (M.J.) 4. Chris (Talavera) 5. Judi (DrGrace) 6. Lori (The^Lorax) 7. Carole (Caz) 8. Michelle (Mojo) 9. Ana (LyssJean) 10. Peter (PaulDoc) 11. Marilyn 12. Andie (Campion7)

We arrived Thursday evening, one by one, and pretty much took it easy (with the exception of those who attended the contributors' party). Then bright and early Friday morning, after bagels and fruit in room 2905, we made a bee-line for the dealer's room. (Room number note: While our room number would seem to indicate we were on the 29th floor, the first 19 were underground.)

We are poor little lambs who have lost their way...Alden was the "star" of the Friday night PMEB party. Fashionable
women wore his face close to their hearts.

"Alden shirts": Lori, Alryssa, Andie,
Becky (BexMod) and Meg.

One of the highlights of the PMEB party was a performance by the "Blue Box Players" who did a radio play featuring the Doctor and some rather confused gangsters.

On Saturday, a goodly number of us took the "El" downtown for a shopping
trip to Marshal Fields, home of Frango Mints.

That's the trouble with big cities, all these indigents hanging around.

There were plenty of sights to see in the "Windy City," though truth be told, it wasn't very windy ... or very much like November at all. The temperatures were in the upper 60s, or low 70s while we were downtown.

Chicago, Mommy. Can we
keep him?

Oh! I almost forgot. Seems there were some people who
used to be in "Doctor Who" at Visions too.

I wish he'd worn the shorts he told us about.

Ah... but all good things must come to an end.

Now it's time to say goodbye to all our company ...
